Howdy Family ????????โ€โ™‚๏ธ,

Late email today yes yes. The house I recently moved into (April 2021) is now being sold. With today being a viewing that means the room is barebones right now and the living room has an echo when talking.

The day started with packing up my bag and making my way to the paintball field. Had a blast felt good to be out in the sun ???? and running around. Let's be honest paintball is probably the most COVID-friendly activity ????.

After cleaning up I ran my first online workshop going over how to start building an email list. While having a chat with a participant I had a big AHAโ•โ• moment.

Midway through explaining the purpose of why I'm doing the workshop I dropped a gem "You don't know, what you don't know".????

When you donโ€™t know what you donโ€™t know, you often spend your time looking for the information you want but not what you need.

This is something I am seeing with individuals and businesses building their brands/business online.

The reason this hit me was with everyone being forced to run their business online without understanding the proper etiquette. Also that there are many moving parts to being successful. For example, a business going online needs to have a

  1. Website
  2. Email Marketing Software
  3. Social Media
  4. Paid Ads
  5. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  6. Sales Funnel
  7. Sales Page
  8. Email Marketing

That's a lot of moving parts!!! Just on building a website alone, you have many steps:

  • Pick your name (domain)
  • Find the place youโ€™re going to have your site live (hosting service)
  • Pay someone to build the page (web designer)
  • Get the proper website copy to convert a visitor to a customer (copywriter)
  • Have quality images (photographer)

All that just to have your site up and running. ????

Often times decisions are made based on what is most common and not what is best for us. In everyday life, we know that the biggest names are not necessarily the best thing for us.

For example, I can go anywhere in the world and say Hamburger someone will yell out Mcdonaldโ€™s or Burger King. ????????

Reflecting at the end of the call I realize the goal is to pass on the information to help redirect someone to what they need.

If you had information that you know someone needed would you make the effort to let them know?

Have an AWESOME evening/morning!
